A drugs gang based in Bury were rumbled after Border Force officers seized £2 million worth of cannabis bound for a garage. The garage, run by Dominic Ball, had been cleared to allow for 70 kilos of the drug to be delivered.
But after officers intercepted the package, a ‘well organised and profitable’ drugs gang were quickly caught out. Police raided the homes of Ball, Callum Seddon, his mum Tracy Seddon, Anthony Scott and Aaron Blundell, and found multiple deals of cannabis, drugs paraphernalia, cash and burner phones. READ MORE: Ex-ice hockey player and Coronation Street extra GUILTY of sickening rapes and abuse It was quickly established that the group were operating a drugs line throughout Bury, Bolton and Manchester, with Callum Seddon acting as the leader of the gang, his mum as ‘receptionist’, Scott and Blundell as his ‘trusted lieutenants’ and Ball as the storage for the consignment.
Ball, Blundell and Tracy Seddon were hauled before Minshull Street Crown Court where they were sentenced for their part in the organisation.
They had previously pleaded guilty to conspiring to supply class B drugs. The court heard that on May 25 last year, a parcel was seized at the East Midlands Airport by UK Border Force staff.
