Wealthy 60-year-old businesswoman lashed out at two policemen as they handcuffed her... she told a court she 'accepts I was agitated'

A Cheshire businesswoman attacked two policemen during a bust up as they handcuffed her. Carol Holcroft pushed out at one officer and kicked another when she was arrested, a court has heard.

The 60-year-old had called police regarding an undisclosed matter to an address in Bollington, near Macclesfield, three miles from her £1m home.

But after wealthy company director Holcroft found herself arrested at the scene, she became 'very upset' at how the handcuffs were causing her 'pain', and lashed out at officers PC Hilditch and PC Mason.

Laura Davig, prosecuting, said: “Police were in attendance regarding an unrelated matter that is not before the court today.
