A woman who refused to believe that she was too old to have a baby aged 40 said she 'wanted to prove everybody wrong' - and now has three children.

Beth Hobson, from Manchester, underwent an astonishing 29 rounds of IVF in a bid to conceive. She and her husband spent a total of £200,000 on the treatments.

Now 55, she started the process fifteen years ago despite being told he only had a 10 per cent chance at conceiving naturally.

Beth said she was determined to fall pregnant and 'wanted to prove everybody wrong' - and show you’re never too old to start a family.
