The video was released on Wednesday (November 27).Their Tiny Desk debut has been long-awaited by fans – and also one many years in the making.
Upon release of the video, NPR revealed the band were on their wishlist when the series first started in 2008.“I don’t know what happened 15 years ago.
I think someone missed a phone call or an email ’cause we wanted to do it!” frontman Tunde Adebimpe said after their rousing performance of ‘Wolf Like Me’.“We’ve been sitting around talking amongst ourselves saying, ‘I don’t know why they don’t want us,’ ” bandmate Kyp Malone added.
