Partick Thistle manager Ian McCall offered a sincere apology to the club's fans following their 6-1 win over Hamilton - for a gormless post-match interview.

The Jags took their Championship rivals apart on their own pitch with a stunning display that had the large travelling support in raptures.

The match was broadcast live on BBC Scotland, meaning viewers across the nation were able to tune in to the demolition. Zak Rudden hit a double while Scott Tiffoney got in on the act in the second half, and it was that pair who were asked to do the post-match media duties.

The Thistle pair were followed up by their manager Ian McCall, who felt moved to immediately apologise. He said: "Can I just say, I cannot BELIEVE you got Rudden and Tiffoney."
