Warning issued to those with Windows 10 as users are urged to check computers

Those who use Windows 10 or Windows 11 have been issued a warning to make sure that their computers are up-to-date following a recent upgrade.The update that was rolled out this week has fixed a total of 76 security problems.

Seven of the now fixed security faults were rated as 'critical' with one issue that could give hackers system privileges and allow them to run code on your machine without being logged in.The updates are part of Microsoft's Patch Tuesday initiative which fixes a number of security issues on a weekly basis.As reported by the Express, it is important to make sure that your device is up to date, even if it updates itself automatically.WINDOWS 10: Windows 10 users should select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates.

If updates are available, install them.WINDOWS 11: Windows 11 users should select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and select Check for updates.
