A warning has been issued over a "fake" festival at a Scots park made up to "extort money from people excited to take part in festive fun".
All About Barrhead has been forced to issue a warning on social media after they were made aware of a site selling scam tickets to a winter festival in Cowan Park.
With no licence application being lodged, the organiser of a legit Winter Wonderland event said they believed it to be a scam.
In a statement All About Barrhead : "It has been brought to our attention that the page linked below has been advertising and selling tickets for a 'Winter Festival' coming to Cowan Park, Barrhead taking place over a number of weeks from November to December.
