The passing of the great Walter Smith has plunged Scottish football into mourning. Aged 73, the former Rangers, Everton and Scotland manager has died following an illness, the Ibrox club announced on Tuesday.
Smith's career in the game spanned decades, beginning as a player at Dundee United in 1966 and concluding with a final league title at Rangers in 2011.
