Vladimir Putin has 'successful' cancer surgery as Kremlin 'fakes' media appearance

Vladimir Putin underwent "successful" cancer surgery last week as the Kremlin used "deepfake" technology to pretend that he was still working, it has been claimed.

This followed his doctors insisting that the operation was essential, according to opposition Telegram channel General SVR, which has regularly claimed inside knowledge of the Russian President's supposed health problems.

It was alleged that there was a problem in his post-surgical recovery on the night of May 20 when his condition worsened before improving, The Mirror reports.
