the “Fast & Furious” franchise back to Los Angeles. On Monday, Diesel, 57, posted a video on Instagram, showing him and “Fast” co-star Michelle Rodriguez, 46, filming their new Häagen-Dazs Super Bowl commercial titled “NOT SO FAST, NOT SO FURIOUS.” In the post, Diesel took a moment to reflect on the history of the franchise in the City of Angels.“25 years ago on the streets of Los Angeles, we created something that became bigger than any of us could have imagined.
Not just a movie — but a family that stretches across the globe,” Diesel shared in his caption. “Being on PCH, filming this Super Bowl spot, brought it all rushing back.
The same stretch of coast where Pablo [Paul Walker] and I raced 25 years ago, practical driving, living those moments that would change our lives forever.”The actor also highlighted the significance of the location, noting how he and Rodriguez were reunited with “local crew members I haven’t seen in years” during the commercial shoot.
The ad features Diesel and Rodriguez relaxing with some ice cream when they cross paths with fellow “Fast” star Ludacris.“We’ve all felt that Fast needs to come back to LA.
