A Victorian travelogue that details Glasgow and Lanarkshire has been given a fresh lease of life - 170 years after being first released.

Hugh MacDonald’s book Rambles Round Glasgow recorded his rambles in Glasgow, Rutherglen, Cambuslang and beyond, and was first released back in 1854.

The book proved was hugely popular and went through several editions, but has been out of print since the 1950s.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
