'Vibrant' young Scots woman dies suddenly as heartbroken colleagues pay tribute

Heartbroken friends and colleagues have paid tribute to a 'vibrant' Scots woman who died at a young age. Scot Livingston, also known as Sarah, from Aberdeen is believed to have suddenly passed away at the weekend.

The popular 33-year-old volunteered as a petty officer for the Sea Cadets and also helped out with the Aberdeen RNLI, reports Aberdeen Live.Both organisations have since lowered their flags in tribute to Scot after the tragic death.Aberdeen Sea Cadets announced her death in a post on social media and said she would be 'sorely missed'.It read: "Over the weekend, we sadly lowered our Ensign to half mast as the news broke that one of our volunteers had sadly passed away."PPO (SCC) Sarah Livingstone or as we knew her by Scot, who joined TS SCYLLA and became the units boats officer with her wealth of waterborne experience."Scot found a new passion since joining the Sea Cadets and working with us at TS SCYLLA, and as she found her feet, Scot started to branch out to district training, assisting with Night Supervision but ready to take on the next challenge."With her cheeky and energetic personality, she will be sorely missed by all at the unit."RNLI Aberdeen also paid tribute to Scot.They said: " This weekend, RNLI Aberdeen mourned the sudden loss of our Water Safety Officer, Scot Livingstone."Scot had been a volunteer at the station since late 2020 and had been actively involved in sharing and presenting water safety messaging both within the community and at schools in the Aberdeen area."Our condolences are with Scot’s family and loved ones at this sad and trying time and the station flag will fly at half mast in reflection."Tributes have since poured in for the popular Aberdeen woman from across Scotland.One
