Police Scotland are appealing for information amid increasing concern for the welfare of a missing man. Michael Flaherty, 28, was last seen around Bankend Road in Dumfries.
He is thought to have been in the area around 9:50pm on Thursday 10 June.Police Inspector Hayley Little from Dumfries Police Station said: “Michael is described as being around six foot tall with brown hair. "He has an American accent and when last seen was wearing a black jumper, blue jeans and brown 'cowboy' style boots and was in possession of a large red or beige hiking rucksack.“We are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and anyone who knows his whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3748 of 10 June.”.
