UK weather forecast: Yellow weather warning for rain in the south as warm spell comes to an end

With stronger winds and lower temperatures, the UK will feel noticeably colder than it has recently. There is also an early-morning yellow weather warning for much of the south of England today (Thursday, October 21) currently in force until 3 am.

The Met office state on the warning, “Wet and windy weather likely brings some disruption to parts of southern England this evening and overnight.” Most of the UK will continue to see rain in the morning, gradually making its way south.

The Met Office currently lists the weather summary for the UK on Thursday, October 21 as: “Much colder across entire UK and feeling cold in the north and east with strong winds and gales in the far northeast.
