Twelve teams have signed up to take part in the ESL, including United and Manchester City, but the plans have been greeted with indignation within the game.
In an explosive press conference on Monday afternoon, Ceferin said he'd spoken to Woodward last Thursday and the United executive vice-chairman had reassured him he was happy with the planned UEFA reforms to the Champions League, which have been passed today.
