Dillian Whyte has suggested Tyson Fury could retire from boxing as he demands that he be given a shot at the Gypsy King following his win over Deontay Wilder.

Whyte is likely to be Fury’s next opponent, with the 33-year-old the mandatory challenger for the WBC title, which Fury retained in Las Vegas over the weekend with his 11th-round stoppage of Wilder.

It’s been a long wait for Whyte to get his shot at the belt, although he will still need to overcome Otto Wallin later the month before he gets the chance to take on Fury.

But with a unification bout with Oleksandr Usyk looking off the table after Anthony Joshua triggered a rematch with the Ukrainian, Whyte looks set to finally get his opportunity, and he’s not prepared to let it slip.
