Two charged over Larbert 'murder bid' as man airlifted to hospital after 'stabbing'

Two men have been charged with attempted murder after an alleged 'stabbing' in a Scots home, which saw a man being airlifted to hospital.

Emergency services raced to an address on Paton Drive in Larbert, Falkirk, after receiving reports of an alleged ssault at 6.45pm on Saturday.

A 36-year-old man was flown to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.Staff there say the man's condition is "serious but stable".Police previously said that two men, aged 21 and 22, had been arrested in connection with the alleged incident.

The force have now confirmed the pair have been charged with attempted murder.Officers have reassured the safety of the public and say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
