Twin Atlantic's Sam McTrusty opens up about 'mental breakdown' in new album

Twin Atlantic frontman Sam McTrusty opened up in an interview about his mental health battles while the band toured for fifth album, Power.

Whilst the group were on the road, Sam struggled with an unknown illness and his wellbeing deteriorated as a result.The 34-year-old revealed he had a "private mental breakdown" during the period.The Twin Atlantic frontman told NME Magazine: "I had a kind of private mental breakdown – I mean, they’re all serious in their own right, but I’m still downplaying it."It’s such an alien concept to me.
