Few K-pop girl groups are conquering the globe quite like TWICE. The JYP Entertainment phenoms first came together through 2015′s Sixteen, a reality TV competition series pitting 16 K-pop trainees against each other to form a new girl group.

The result was TWICE, a charming, talented group of nine singing-dancing-rapping superstars in the making. With dozens of hits to their name over the years ever since their debut with The Story Begins – including “Like OOH-AHH,” “Cheer Up,” “TT,” “What Is Love?” “Yes or Yes,” “Fancy,” “More & More,” and “Alcohol-Free” – history-making record sales and sold-out world tours, TWICE has go on to become one of the most successful girl groups of the past decade.

Seoul-born trainee Im Nayeon was among one the first contestants revealed to be a member of TWICE, and quickly became a favorite among fans worldwide, regularly voted as one of the most popular idols in South Korea, and frequently featured in modeling campaigns for fashion houses and in magazine spreads.

Seven years after her massively successful debut as a girl group member in October of 2015, Nayeon is now the first member of the group to go solo, arriving with her self-titled mini-album IM NAYEON on Friday (June 24) featuring “POP!”, the bright and bold lead burst of energy that captures the confident charm of a young superstar.
