Tributes have been paid to a 'lovely' Scots mum who was killed after being hit by a car in Rutherglen. Angela Marshall was knocked down by a car while on Croftfoot Road in the town at around 6.35pm on Thursday January 13.Emergency services scrambled to the incident but the 55-year-old was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Angela's heartbroken family and friends have been left devastated by the news.Tributes have flooded in on social media for Angela, who has been described as a 'beautiful', amazing human being'.Tracey Thorne said: “We will never be the same lost without this amazing human that held us all together.”Angela Guthrie said: “My most beautiful amazing friend who will never be forgotten, my wee tea and biscuit pal.
