Trauma expert Gabor Maté diagnoses Prince Harry with ADD but says it 'can be cured'

Prince Harry has been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) during a live conversation with trauma expert Dr Gabor Maté.The youngest son of King Charles spoke with the doctor in a tell-all chat on Saturday evening, with the event being billed as an 'intimate conversation' between the pair which discussed living with loss and personal healing.

During the chat, the doctor told Duke of Sussex that he diagnosed him with ADD after reading through his book and hearing about his life experiences.The conversation was livestreamed to those who paid for the £17 tickets, and included a copy of the Duke's memoir Spare, which the doctor referenced multiple times throughout the justification of his diagnosis.

Dr Maté said: "One of the intentions I know you have is to remove the stigma around mental health or to help remove the stigma about mental health issues. "When I read your book as a clinician - you can agree or disagree - but I come up with several diagnoses that seem to go on in the book. "Whether you like it or not, I diagnosed you with ADD, okay?

It takes one to know one, I share that diagnosis." Harry was taken aback at first by the unexpected diagnosis, asking the doctor: "Should I accept that or should I look into it?" Dr Maté replied: "You can do what you want with it, I'm just saying.
