Tom Grennan has apologised for comments he made during Saturday night’s The Brit Awards as he presented an award with fellow singer Ellie Goulding.

The pair teamed up to announce the award for best new artist which went to rock band Wet Leg. However, as they took to the stage Tom, 27, commented on 36-year-old Ellie’s black breastplate top.
