McFly star Tom Fletcher returns to Strictly this weekend after testing positive for COVID at the start of the competition. The bespectacled rocker will be back taking on his dream routine jiving along with dance partner Amy Dowden to Johnny B Goode from the movie Back To The Future.

The singer and guitarist, 36, will be channeling Marty McFly, the character played by Michael J Fox in the iconic flick for Movie Week.

It is also the character that inspired the name of his own band, McFly. I’ve been looking forward to learning to jive since signing up to Strictly so getting to do it dressed as Marty McFLY to the movie that changed my life…I’m living my childhood dream Saturday!
