Time’s Up Blasts HFPA’s Statement On Lack Of Black People In Organization: “The Globes Are No Longer Golden”

It was a busy night for Time’s Up as they sent not one, but two letters on Sunday night in regards to a flimsy statement made by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) in regards to the lack of inclusion of Black people in their organization.

And just to make sure their bases were covered, Time’s Up also sent a letter to NBCUniversal to make sure they are being held accountable.The first letter was to HFPA’s Meher Tatna, Board Chair; Ali Sar, President and Helen Hoehne, Vice President.

The trio appeared on stage on Sunday night during the Golden Globes telecast to address the lack of Black people in the organization.
