During a bitter break-up with Maria Stanciu, Vasile Rostas warned that she would see her loved ones being killed - as thugs would use Facebook to film and broadcast the abuse.

The 47-year-old bully also repeatedly shouted at her, accused her of cheating on him and acted aggressively towards her. He also prevented her from getting a job, controlled her money, and told a child, who can't be named for legal reasons, to relay messages to her accusing her of cheating on him.

Rostas, who denied he'd done anything wrong and went on trial at Paisley Sheriff Court earlier this year. In his closing speech to the jury,.
