Armourer Hedley Brown, 57, met Sebastian Benjamin, 32, and Stuart Nicholson, 32, in Oldham to give the gun to them. The gun had eleven rounds of live ammunition and would have been used to 'kill' or 'cause serious harm', Minshull Street Crown Court heard.

Sebastian Benjamin and Stuart Nicholson travelled from Hemel Hempstead to Reins Lee Avenue to collect the gun with Michael McDonough.

They made the trip on January 27, last year to pick up the weapon from Brown, who lived on Reins Lee Avenue. McDonough travelled to Oldham in a VW Golf and Benjamin
