Thousands of pounds have been raised for the family of a 24-year-old law graduate who died after falling from a balcony while on holiday in Ibiza.

Robyn-Eve Maines - described as a 'firecracker' by her devastated family - was on holiday in the party resort of San Antonio when she reportedly fell 30 feet from a balcony.

She was pronounced dead at the scene at the Rosamar Hotel at around 9am on Sunday, September 25. More than £8,000 has been raised in a GoFundMe campaign organised by her family to repatriate her body and cover the funeral costs.

The fundraiser has been organised by Robyn-Eve's aunt, Diane Morrisey, who has left a touching tribute, reports the Echo. She said: "I can't believe I'm writing this, my beautiful niece, Robyn-Eve Maines has tragically passed away aged 24.
