It doesn't matter where you shop, prices are rising and you probably notice it more with your big shop. With grocery staples taking a hit, and stock shortages having an impact of their own, it's no wonder our money isn't stretching as far these days.

We decided to see exactly how much prices have risen by repeating the same Tesco big shop from last year. And we noticed some big differences. Of the 65 items we bought - mainly groceries with a few toiletries thrown in - 38% (25) were more expensive, almost 45% (29) the same and almost 17% (11) cheaper.
