The Voice star Jessie J opens up about disease that might end her singing career

Singer and former The Voice UK coach Jessie J has revealed to fans that she has been diagnosed with Meniere’s disease which, according to Digital Spy, is an ear condition that can cause severe hearing problems.

Jessie also revealed in the video posted on her Instagram, that steroids prescribed to her by her doctor to treat the disease have resulted in her developing acid reflux and nodules in her throat.

The singer said: ‘Basically I got told I had Meniere’s syndrome. I’ve actually had a lot of people reach out to me and give me great advice, so I’ve just been laying low in silence.
