John Roger Stephens (born December 28, 1978), known professionally as John Legend, is an American singer, songwriter, producer, actor, and philanthropist. Prior to the release of Legend's debut album, Get Lifted, (2004) he had collaborated with already established artists and signed to Kanye West's GOOD Music. Legend has sung on Jay-Z's "Encore", Alicia Keys's "You Don't Know My Name", Dilated Peoples' "This Way", Slum Village's "Selfish", Fort Minor's "High Road", and played piano on Lauryn Hill's "Everything Is Everything". Legend's single "All of Me" from his fourth studio album Love in the Future (2013) was a Billboard Hot 100 number-one hit.
Kelly Clarkson
Kelly Brianne Clarkson (born April 24, 1982) is an American singer-songwriter, actress, author and television personality. She rose to fame in 2002, after winning the first season of American Idol, which earned her a record deal with RCA Records. Clarkson's debut single, "A Moment Like This", topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and became the country's best-selling single of 2002. It was followed by the release of her debut studio album, Thankful (2003), which debuted atop the US Billboard 200. Trying to reinvent her image, Clarkson parted ways with Idol management and shifted to pop rock music for her second album, Breakaway (2004). After numerous top 40 radio number-one singles, such as "Since U Been Gone" and "Because of You", the album sold over 12 million copies worldwide and earned Clarkson two Grammy Awards.

The Voice is back, and the ratings are in! The long-running reality TV singing competition series returned on Monday night (September 20) with Season 21, featuring coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and, for the first time, Ariana Grande. Click inside to read more… When it came to the coveted adults 18-49 rating, The Voice came in strong, via THR. “The Voice was the lone broadcast show to top a 1.0 rating in adults 18-49 in primetime, premiering with a 1.08 to go along with 7.22 million viewers,” the outlet reporeted.

That said, it fell slightly behind last fall’s (Season 19) debut, which launched at a 1.2 rating among adults 18-49 and 8.2 million viewers. Ariana just revealed she already broke one of her contract’s rules.
