Manchester United and Manchester City fans will watch Match of the Day tonight without host Gary Lineker. Lineker has revealed that he will miss the show due to illness and has confirmed it isn’t Covid.
Neither United or City are on live TV on Saturday, both teams kicking off at 3pm, meaning the first chance fans will be able to see the action will be on the highlight show at 10.30pm.
But they will not be greeted by Lineker, with the former striker being replaced by Mark Chapman, who hosts Match of the Day 2 on a Sunday night.
