The government has confirmed that it will soon pay out the first instalment of a series of Cost of Living payments worth up to £1,350 in the coming weeks.
More than eight million households across the country claiming means-tested benefits will automatically receive the first payment of £301 Between April 25 and May 17.
An extra payment worth £150 will also be handed out to over 6.5 million claimants on disability benefits this summer. Overall, five cost of living payments are scheduled across the 2023/24 tax year and will cover vulnerable households, pensioners, and those living with physical and mental disabilities. The full list of benefits eligible for the £900 include the following: You must have received a payment for one of these payments during the quality period between January 26, 2023 and February 25, 2023.
