The One Show's Alex Jones was forced to apologise after Lewis Capaldi swore numerous times as he appeared on the show. As the 26 year old Scottish singer spoke to Alex, 45, and her co-host Roman Kemp, 29, he couldn't keep a swear word far from his mouth as they congratulated him on his new single, Forget Me, reaching number one on the charts.
As he was asked about it, Lewis said: "Yeah, I'm chuffed to b***ery!" Lewis then went on to talk about the video for the single, which took influence from Wham's 1983 promo for their song Club Tropicana, which Roman's mum Shirley starred in.
Lewis declared: "Your mum was in it and she looked b**** good in it, I have to say that!" Begging him to stop, Roman said: "Please, please stop!" As Lewis headed on to perform his song, Alex took a moment to apologise to the viewers of the morning show as she said: "We have got to say a quick sorry about the language.
I'm sorry if anyone was offended." It's not the first time Lewis has gone rogue live on-air, after he left Naga Munchetty shocked after making an X-rated remark live on BBC Breakfast last month.
