The Lumineers have shared details of a surprise, intimate show in London, with funds going to War Child. Find out the details below.Announced today (January 10), the upcoming one-off show will be held at the Hoxton Hall in London later this month.

Taking place on January 17, it will mark the US indie duo’s first show since announcing news of new album, ‘Automatic’ earlier this week.For the upcoming gig, the band have teamed up with War Child, meaning that funds raised from the show will go towards helping children living in areas of conflict.“We’re incredibly grateful to The Lumineers and their team for donating their time and talents to help raise money for us with what I’m sure will be a beautifully intimate show at Hoxton Hall and fans are in for a real treat,” Clare Sanders-Wright, Live Music Lead at War Child said in a new statement.“No child should ever be a part of war, and with the past year being particularly dire, it means that much more to be supported in our work, both by The Lumineers and their team, and to everyone that donates,” Sanders-Wright continued. “Every penny raised helps us to provide desperately needed emergency aid, psychological support, education, and more for children caught in conflict zones around the world.”Tickets for the special Hoxton Hall show will be available via a prize draw – visit here to purchase ballot entries for the chance to win a pair of tickets to the show.

The ballot closes at 11:59pm on Tuesday (January 14) and winners will be informed 48 hours ahead of the show.The intimate gig next week comes ahead of The Lumineers embarking on a UK and Ireland headline tour this May, which includes a show at The O2 in London.
