Lynda Obst and Paula Weinstein, the late powerhouse producers who championed women’s voices in Hollywood, will be honored at the Producers Guild Awards next month.

Both are set for the 2025 PGA Trailblazer Award. “Lynda Obst and Paula Weinstein have made a lasting impact on the industry with their trailblazing work and steadfast commitment to amplifying women’s voices,” Producers Guild of America presidents Stephanie Allain and Donald De Line said in a statement Friday. “Lynda and Paula embody the spirit of women who have broken barriers and paved the way for future generations of producers.” RELATED: 2025 Awards Season Calendar: Dates For Oscars, Spirits, Grammys, Tonys, Guilds & More Weinstein, who died March 25, won a pair of Emmys for the HBO telefilms Too Big to Fail and Truman and nominated for Recount and Citizen Cohn.

She also worked on films including The Perfect Storm, The Fabulous Baker Boys, Analyze This and its sequel Analyze That. Weinstein went on to produce Grace and Frankie, the longest-running Netflix series ever.

Obst, who died October 22, was an Emmy nominee for miniseries The ’60s, and her TV credits also include The Hot Zone, Good Girls Revolt and Hot in Cleveland.
