A representative for The Kelly Clarkson Show and NBCUniversal is responding to the recent allegations of a toxic behind-the-scenes work environment.
On Friday morning (May 12), Rolling Stone published an article where former employees of the NBC daytime talk show, hosted by the 41-year-old entertainer, claimed that executive producer and showrunner Alex Duda has created such a negative work environment through bullying and verbal abuse that employees have suffered physical sickness and their mental health has greatly suffered.
A representative for NBCUniversal later released a statement regarding the allegations. Keep reading to find out more… “We are committed to a safe and respectful work environment and take workplace complaints very seriously and to insinuate otherwise is untrue,” the rep for NBCUniversal shared in a statement with People. “When issues are reported they are promptly reviewed, investigated and acted upon as appropriate,” the statement continued. “The Kelly Clarkson Show strives to build a safe, respectful and equitable workplace that nurtures a culture of inclusivity and creativity.” As of right now, Kelly has not publicly addressed the allegations.
