A historic building on the borders of Greater Manchester is going to be turned into a huge new pub and restaurant.The grade II-listed Tenant's Hall at Alderley Park has been taken over by the Cheshire Pub Co, which is also behind the The Ship Inn at Styal.The pub group will turn the space into a 6000 sq ft dining space called The Churchill Tree, due to open in autumn.The restaurant space itself will have space for 160 diners, along with an outside beer garden, and will serve British pub food and cask ales from local breweries.The Churchill Tree will sit in the 400-acre park, a former country estate, surrounded by walking, running and cycling routes.It's the second pub the Cheshire Pub Co.
