The Chase's 'The Beast' Mark Labbett shows off weight loss on romantic date with new girlfriend

The Chase star Mark Labbett is looking slimmer than ever in photos from a romantic date with his new girlfriend. Quizzer Mark, 57, is known as The Beast on the ITV gameshow and has lost around 10 stone in a bid to get fit, but still indulges in a dessert every now and then as his TV presenter girlfriend Hayley Palmer, 41, showed.

She shared a post on Instagram of her new beau tucking into a delicious-looking crumble with the caption: "A Beast of a crumble".

Mark looked to have lost even more weight, making him almost unrecognisable from his early days of fame on The Chase. He and Hayley went public with their relationship earlier in May when they posted photos together from a walk on the beach in Portsmouth.

Asked whether he had been able to enjoy any quizzes with his new girlfriend yet, Mark told The Mirror: "I'm on the road so much, plus the little matter of a six-year-old boy that I co-parent, so I try to spend as much time as I can with him. "I'm going out to film in America next month, and I'm already planning what I'm doing in July and August with Katie to see what weeks work." Mark was previously married to Katie, discovering months after their 2014 wedding that they were actually second cousins, and they share a six-year-old son, Lawrence.The couple broke up in 2020 after attempting an open marriage and Katie now has a new partner, too.
