Holly Marie Willoughby (born 10 February 1981) is an English television presenter, model and author. She is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2009–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2011, 2018–present) alongside Phillip Schofield.

Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield infuriated the nation last week after they appeared to skip the queue to see the Queen lying in state. The This Morning presenters were fiercely criticised on social media after they were photographed inside Westminster Hall on Friday without taking part in the public line.

They pair addressed the backlash on Tuesday’s episode of This Morning, insisting that they followed the rules set for broadcasters and journalists and didn’t take anyone’s place in the line, which at one point could be seen from space.

Since reports emerged, however, a petition calling Willoughby and Schofield to be axed from the ITV show has received over 13,000 signatures.

Celebrities haven’t held back in calling them out either, with the likes of Huw Edwards and Eamonn Holmes taking aim. Huw Edwards took aim at Willoughby and Schofield during BBC News while pointing out the celebrities who were spotted standing in line. ‘There have been quite a few familiar faces in the queue for that lying in state at Westminster Hall,’ Edwards began. ‘We did of course see a certain David Beckham there on Friday.
