‘The Batman’: New Image From the Robert Pattinson Reboot Teases a Different Take on Gotham City

The image (which Reeves says is a shot from the trailer) paints Robert Pattinson’s titular character in silhouette while he looks on at Gotham City – paying off Reeves’ promise for this “Batman” of a Gotham like we’ve never seen it before.Indeed, production for “The Batman” largely took place in London, although some second-unit photography took to the streets of Chicago – which is what Christopher Nolan used as the basis for his Gotham City in “The Dark Knight.” This image is but a small tease of a larger film, but it’ll be interesting to see what Reeves’ iteration of Gotham looks like in the new trailer.“The Batman” is a reboot of the iconic DC property that puts Pattinson in the role of Bruce.
