THE Apprentice hopefuls are 'forced to line up in order of ugliness' during brutal auditions, a former contestant has claimed.

The BBC One show recently returned for a new series, and saw a new batch of candidates hoping to win a business deal with Lord Sugar.

Each series features a number of beautiful and handsome contestants, and now former candidate Thomas Skinner - who competed in the 2019 series - has claimed the hopefuls face a brutal auditions process which incorporates their appearance as well as their business acumen.

Speaking to the Daily Star, he said: "Before you go on the show you go through the interview stages and you’ve got people from all over - from London, from Ireland, from Manchester, and you’re in this room and they told us to line up from ugliest to prettiest. "And you don’t know who these people are and you’ve got people arguing about who’s the prettiest." He continued: "It’s carnage but there were people arguing saying ‘I’m much better looking,’.” The Sun Online has contacted a representative for the show for comment on Thomas's claims.
