Tesco issues important message about shoppers entering its larger stores

With many parts of the UK now in local lockdown, supermarkets are continuing to come up with new ways to ensure shoppers are kept as safe as possible while in stores.Now Tesco is following in the footsteps of Aldi, and has decided to install a new traffic light system in some of its bigger stores.In an email to shoppers, Tesco CEO, Jason Tarry confirmed a new traffic light system that will be installed in some of the chain's bigger supermarkets in the coming weeks.He said: "Over the coming weeks, you will also start to see a simple ‘traffic light’ system at the entrances of some of our larger stores, to help us manage the flow in and out."The email to customers also outlined some other changes which will be happening in stores to keep.
