Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

The terminally ill driving force behind St Andrew’s Hospice getting two new vans has spoken of his pride at seeing the new vehicles in action.Joe Steen was determined to raise thousands of pounds to buy a van for the hospice where he has worked as the warehouse manager at for the last seven years.

Tragically, the 61-year-old, from Cambuslang, was diagnosed with asbestosis and was given a terminal diagnosis several months ago.

Speaking to Lanarkshire Live this week, Joe said: “I’m so chuffed that I have managed to achieve what I wanted. I’ve left a legacy which means these vans will be able to help the hospice over many years. “We also have a lease van so we now have three on the road.“This place means so much to me, I was just glad that so many people have got behind me and the hospice.“I’ve told everyone to make sure they are always clean!”Joe’s fundraising drive saw him pack out the Parkville Hotel in Blantyre for a special event.His JustGiving page has already hit £15,000 with donations continuing to flood in.
