A teacher has been left embarrassed after being "dress-coded" at school over her "inappropriate" outfit. Alison Mutarelli, 21, has been left confused over what she is allowed to wear to work after the ordeal.The student teacher took to social media to share her experience after being pulled up for her dress while working at school.

In a video posted to TikTok, Alison shared her outfit to garner others opinions, reports the Mirror. She said: "I was student teaching, and both my partner and I were wearing dresses and the principal told us to dress for the jobs that we want."She was wearing the outfit that got her told off, which included a black shawl and a short white dress.

The 21-year-old then went onto show more outfits that they planned to wear to school or had previously worn.The teacher then tried on a floral dress but questioned whether it would be accepted because it might be considered tight fitting.

She decided against wearing it, concluding: "I don't think I can wear it".The young woman then tried on a couple of tops she has worn "multiple times," including a white shirt on with a sleeveless knitted top over.
