Machine Gun Kelly has dropped out of the upcoming movie Wash Me in the River and he is being replaced by Friday Night Lights actor Taylor Kitsch.

Deadline reports that “scheduling” conflicts prompted MGK from dropping out as the lead in the new film, which will be directed by Randall Emmett. MGK just worked with Randall on the movie Midnight in the Switchgrass, which had production delays due to the pandemic.

That film recently went back to work and has since wrapped. In the new movie, Taylor will “play a recovering addict who goes Man On Fire toward every drug dealer he thinks might have played a role in his fiance’s death.

Two cops are hot on his trail.” Also starring in the film are Robert De Niro and John Malkovich.
