Irvine dad sleeps rough in bid to complete charity challenge close to his heart
Irvine man took on the test of walking the West Highland Way to raise money for Christians Against Poverty (CAP) and North Ayrshire mental health services.Based in Irvine, the CAP Debt Centre gave him invaluable advice on how to tackle major financial problems as well as mental health issues and spiritual guidance.The mental health team provide invaluable support to people who face significant personal challenges.With donations still coming in, Ron has so far raised £1,395.Committed Christian Ron said: “I walked about 1,200 miles in the run up to the charity challenge.“I felt it was a great achievement to complete the walk as I feel I’m called to help CAP, who have done so much for me.”Ron continued: “Each day brought its own challenges,
