Supermarket giant submits plan to relocate Wishaw store

One of Britain’s biggest supermarkets could be set to relocate its store in Wishaw to another part of the town.A planning application has been submitted by Lidl to demolish existing buildings on the land at Heathery Road and construct a new supermarket along with car parking for 112 spaces and associated landscaping.And that would mean a move out of the existing Roberts Street site, which has been a fixture in the town centre for a number of years.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
