Strictly Come Dancing star Tyler West missed out on a holiday to Ibiza after being turned away at the airport for not having a valid passport.

The radio presenter and DJ, 27, who also appeared on the most recent series of the dancing show, couldn’t make it on his sunny holiday after forgetting to check his travel document properly.

Appearing on Lorraine on Wednesday, fill-in host Ranvir Singh told audiences there was a ‘rather unexpected but very welcome guest’ when introducing Tyler.

Asking him to explain exactly why he was on set, he then recalled what had happened during his setback. ‘I was actually meant to be in Ibiza…but I heard you were here today,’ he joked at first.
