Strictly star Nadiya Bychkova 'supported by Kai Widdrington after fiancé split'

Strictly Come Dancing star Nadiya Bychkova is being supported by her fellow dancer Kai Widdrington following her split from fiancé, according to reports.

It was recently revealed that the 32 year old has allegedly split from her fiancé Matija Škarabot, a Slovenian footballer. It's thought the pair called it a day just a few months ago, while she was still competing with Dan Walker on the BBC series.

Since then, it seems Nadiya has formed a friendship with Kai, 26, which is helping her get through the tough time. A source has said: "Nadiya and Kai have incredible chemistry, and a very strong friendship.

"Right from week one they ­connected, and are always laughing and messing about," they continued to The Sun. "Nadiya and Matija actually separated months ago and obviously Nadiya confided in Dan at the time. "[Kai] has cheered her up and made her smile again.They’re great mates, and lots of people backstage think they’d make a really cute ­couple when the time is right." Nadiya and Matija have a daughter, Mila, together and it's thought they will continue to co-parent her.
