Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Strictly Come Dancing's beloved judge Shirley Ballas has declared she'll stick with the show until she "pops" her "clogs." The 64 year old TV personality and dance pro is passionate about her role on the BBC favourite, telling the Daily Star Sunday: "I've been on the show for eight years and I'll stay on it until I pop my clogs." Shirley, who shares the judging table with Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood, and Anton Du Beke, has been a fixture since 2016.

She explained her enthusiasm for returning each year: "Every year, when I'm asked to come back, I have a little think and then I say, 'Yes, thank you'.The only other reason I'd go is if they don't want me anymore." Her love for the series is fueled by the fresh faces she encounters every season, saying: "Every year, the show is something new and I get to meet new people.

It's family show that everybody in the country really enjoys. It sends positive messages and that's what I love about it." Despite the competition being fierce with Chris McCausland and Pete Wicks tipped as frontrunners, Shirley reminds us that even the most popular contestants can face elimination.Taking over from Len Goodman eight years ago, Shirley has experienced a mix of criticism and praise from the audience. This weekend, ten couples battled it out on the dance floor for Icons Week, performing as their musical idols.
